A quickie today regarding Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 Beta that was recently released for testing.
I downloaded the DVD, extracted it, and ran the setup. In particular I was interested to see the Web Client in action.
The installer recorded that I was missing “Windows Authentication” from my IIS setup. Once I had added this, the installation went off without a hitch.
The installer prompts for all the required information, such as SQL server, Database name etc.
So I fired up Chrome – just to make sure the site worked as advertised in all browsers.
And voila… all worked as expected.

All in all quite impressive. I am looking forward to playing with it some more, and will post some more once I have more to tell.
