Exporting Document Templates for Import
When importing Data into CRM a specific template is required in order for CRM to map the date to the correct fields. Every entity in CRM has a specific template, and the template can be exported for future imports.
This process can be used to export templates to use when importing data such as Price Lists, Products, Accounts etc
Importing Data
When Importing Data into CRM it is best to use the Templates for each specific entity. This ensures that all the fields available for that entity is in the Import File.
I have 5+ years experience as a Dynamics NAV Consultant and currently my role is split between Dynamics NAV and Dynamics CRM.
My role as a Dynamics NAV Consulant has me involved in all System and User Testing, End- and Key-User Training and Support, Project Implementations, Upgrades and Requirements gathering & Design (front-end).
As a Dynamics CRM 2011 Specialist my duties range from Client Consulting (Analysis, Design, System Testing, User Training, Documentation) through Project Management, coordination of Implementations and managing our internal CRM Department.
I strive to ensure our Customers have the correct solutions implemented and that each NAV and CRM User has the knowledge and ability to use the functionality we create for them.
